The NAHEC Awards Program

The National Association of Health Education Centers is pleased to highlight excellence in health education through its annual awards program.

The Outstanding Health Educator of the Year award recognizes and encourages outstanding accomplishments in teaching by a health educator at a NAHEC member organization.  The Richard B. Rush Award for Outstanding Innovation is a peer-reviewed award that recognizes and encourages outstanding efforts in health education by a NAHEC member organization.

Nomination Forms

Deadline for submission of nomination is April 30, 2008.  Submit your nominations today! Nominations for both awards are assessed by an impartial committee.

Awards will be presented at Engage. Challenge. Inspire 2008 in Cincinnati, OH on Monday, June 23rd during the morning presentation.  We request that nominees be present.
