BodyWorks is an obesity prevention toolkit designed to help parents and caregivers of young adolescent girls (ages 9-13) improve family eating and activity habits. The program focuses on parents as role models and provides them with hands-on tools to make small, specific behavior changes to help maintain healthy weight and prevent obesity.
BodyWorks provides a BodyWorks Update Newsletter to partners. The newsletter includes updates on funding opportunities, free material offers and updates on tools for current BodyWorks trainers. Visit http://www.womenshealth.gov/BodyWorks for more details or to download the current BodyWorks Update Newsletter.
