How to Start a Health Education Center NAHEC is frequently contacted from various parts of the country by those interested in developing a Health Education Center (HEC) in their community. If you are interested in starting an HEC, we recommend visiting one of our member centers in person. Check our Members Website Links to locate the HEC nearest you. Then, call, write or e-mail the contact person listed to arrange a site visit. Another way to get information is by attending the NAHEC Annual Conference. For future conference dates and locations, check out our Calendar of Events. NAHEC also offers professional consultation services including feasibility studies, program planning and ongoing project consultation and review. Please contact David Midland for more information at dmidland@nahec.org or 414-390-2187. Thank you. |
