Conference Theme
The conference theme is Engage. Challenge. Inspire. Turning Serious Health Education Into Child’s Play, with special attention on the need to address overweight and obesity.
Conference Goals
- To showcase NAHEC, AAHE, THPERD and their members by promoting awareness and information on their programs and services to others in the fields of education and public health, to public officials and to funding agencies
- To enhance and support the education programs and the administration of interactive health education centers
- To encourage networking among members and visitors
- To provide an opportunity for vendors of products and services to connect with members through exhibits, presentations and literature distribution
- To recognize individuals and organizations who make outstanding contributions in health education with awards

Conference Sessions
Sessions will follow three tracks: Administrative & Operations (ADM), Marketing & Resource Development (DEV), and Teaching & Learning Strategies (EDU). For information about general sessions and workshops, please go to the Agenda.
